ABOUT BRING IT ON: When school redistricting sends popular cheer-captain Campbell to Jackson High School, she is suddenly on the outs, popularity-wise. In order to get back on top, Campbell has to convince Danielle, the head of Jackson's hip-hop dance troop, to start a cheer squad if she's ever going to "bring it on" and end up on top again.
ABOUT SUMMERSTOCK VTC: Summerstock VTC is an intensive sleep-away program in West Milford, NJ, for the serious Musical Theater performer between the ages of 13–19. Our staff is led by professional actors and directors, and this summer, campers performed three musicals including "Bring it On." COVID cut short three of the performances, giving us the opportunity to reprise the show in our Montclair home!
REVISED COVID POLICIES:
* anyone entering Vanguard Theater represents that they are fully vaccinated or have received a negative PCR test within 48 hours.
* guests will be temperature/vaccination status checked and admission will be refused if a guest displays a temperature of over 100.4 degrees or COVID-like symptoms.
* While we are aware that CDC and State of NJ guidelines no longer require masks and social distancing for those who have been vaccinated, we will continue to ask audience members to wear masks in order to keep one another and our cast - many of whom are not fully vaccinated - safe. Our VTC Kids cast have already had the show delayed because of the Omicron variant, and we want to make sure that the show goes on!
* we have increased air filtration by purchasing an industrial air scrubber and several powerful HEPA air purifiers;

Please note that we share our building with two dance studios, which happen to be right above our theater. We try our best to work their class schedules in to the ambiance of our shows - to varying degrees of success.
